I love to see the stories in my life, and I find that if I look for a beginning, middle and end, they are almost always there.
I love to hear the stories our parents tell about us from our childhood. There is no one else who knew us so well or ever looked at us with that much love. I want my kids to have stories about themselves from their youth, too.
Though I have as good a memory as almost anyone I know, I still forget things if I don't write them down.
Hence this blog. We are a family of superheroes, and this is the story about the rest of our lives. We are done with cancer, but God is not done with us, and all that He will do is as worthy of a record as all He has done so far.
Happy to discover you are starting a new blog,
ReplyDeleteAmy. Easter blessings for you and yours. Adriane
Amy, I am hopeful to see what God has for the future of your family. You have all been through so much...I simply can't imagine the depth of emotions this journey has brought you. I loved your last blog on The Big C. What an encouraging way to see God's hand at work and how amazing that you were open to hear Him speak about reconciliation in the midst of your own pain. Mayfield sounds like a great doc and friend. It is no suprise that he loved you. You are one lovable and extraordinary person. We miss you...and are looking at jobs in the Springs with Compassion...Who knows, maybe we'll be neighbors one day! Xoch
